Prairie Points! With just a few folds, a tiny square of fabric becomes a prime-time addition to just about any project. This month’s Maxie Mail subscription sewing box focused on Prairie Points with a fun project, and that led me to update one of my previous video tutorials on how to simplify the process and crank out a whole lineup in a flash!
Continuous Prairie Point Video Tutorial
Just look how pretty they are around the edge of a quilt, or on a handbag or pillow. Use your imagination and make them in any size for just about anything. The formula for using this method is simply to cut the strip twice as wide as the square you’d use to make your finished prairie point. Cutting strips width of fabric yields about 42” of points with each strip.
Add Prairie Points and show me what you make! Thanks for visiting!
